I love and adore my current fanlistings, but I still enjoy living in fantasy land a bit! These are nine fanlistings that I would apply for in a heartbeat, tripping all over myself in excitement all the while. A girl can still dream, right? These are in alphabetical order, by category (more or less).

John Barrowman

"Talk to the hand 'cause the wrist is pissed."

Oh, this man is fabulous. I have a ridiculously big, giggly crush on him. I can't help it, the man could charm the pants off anyone with a pulse. Also, it's a proven fact that he reduces my IQ to the negatives. Personally, I say it's worth it.

Ethan Hawke

"I don't remember waking up that Sunday. I don't think I ever slept. I just that there thinking, Goddamn, this must be what praying is like."

I've been a fan of Ethan's since the first time I saw him in Dead Poets Society (the best movie ever, by the by). Since then I've been following his career, and he continues to make movies I adore. I also really enjoyed the books he's written, The Hottest State in particular. Gotta love jack-of-all-trades, yeah?

David Hewlett

David Hewlett

"The 80s never died, they just got funny-looking."

He's adorable, geeky, hilarious, talented and Canadian. Therefore, his awesome is unquestionable. He never fails to have me in fits of hysterical giggles, whether it's watching from his acting, his blogging or his general existence. Also, Boa vs Python? Epic win! David Hewlett, how are you so awesome?

Major Evan Lorne (Stargate Atlantis/Stargate SG-1)

"Actually, I skipped that course in Major school."

I have a big soft spot for characters who snark, so naturally I was all about Lorne from the first "oh, lucky me!" (Lorne loves Rodney, really! Deep down, somewhere.) I get really excited when he pops up in episodes of SGA - and in between, I draw hearts all around him. It's love!

Rodney McKay (Stargate Atlantis/Stargate SG-1)

"Don't shoot me, you know I can't help myself."

My snarky little geek! I don't understand half the scientific mumbo jumbo that comes out of his mouth (though I suspect most of it is utter baloney anyway), but I get all the Batman references, which is obviously the most important part. I adore his wicked sense of humour, and tend to squee at him a lot. Sometimes out loud.

Captain Jack Harkness (Torchwood/Doctor Who)

"With a dashing hero like me on the case, how can we fail?"

Oh Captain Jack, you feisty little scamp. An unabashed flirt and fuckin' bad-ass to boot. Sure, he's prone to some Horatio Cane-esque cheesefest dialogue, but he works it, so it's all good. Plus, hello, he's gorgeous. Yummy.

Daniel Jackson & Vala Mal Doran (Stargate SG-1)

"I'm gonna go crazy, and I'm taking you with me."

OH! These two just... I don't even think I have words for how much I love these two together. There's just so much chemistry between them, you can practically see it dancing across the screen. They bicker and they fight, yet it's obvious they care about each other greatly. Plus, man, how feisty hot are they? Really, I was hooked from the minute she whacked him in the groin with a fire extinguisher.

Captain Jack Harkness & Ianto Jones (Torchwood)

"Are you asking me out on a date?" "Interested?" "I... well... as long as it's... not in an office. Some fetishes should be kept to yourself."

Nnngh. The more Torchwood goes on, the more I love these two together. Kinky stopwatches, questionable use of a Xerox machine and more inuendos than you can shake a stick at. They have such great chemistry, which only seems to get better as the series goes on. I'm very much rooting for a happy ending with them, preferably with more nakedness. Oh what? A girl needs her eyecandy, okay?

Doctor Who

"It won't be quiet, it won't be safe, and it won't be calm. But I'll tell you what it will be: the trip of a lifetime."

I am a sucker for time travel, oddly enough. This series is the (usually) perfect mix of zany comedy and heartbreaking drama. It makes me cry, it makes me laugh, and it makes me want to be Catherine Tate when I grow up. True story.

Life on Mars

"My name is Sam Tyler. I had an accident, and when I woke up, it was 1973. Am I mad, in a coma, or back in time?"

Another of the most original series to hit the world. John Simm is nothing short of brilliant as Sam Tyler, and the rest of the cast is equally fantastic. I loved the mystery of the series, how it was impossible to figure out just what was happening to Sam. The entire series was complete and utter brilliance.
